As summer winds down and we look ahead to the remainder of the year, we are excited to share a few updates from our team.

First, congratulations to Andrew Salak and Taylor Peters, who both recently earned their CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designations, joining the ranks of 18 other CFP® professionals at our firm. Their commitment to ongoing learning reflects the high standard of advice we strive to provide every day.

We also want to thank everyone who participated in our recent client survey. The feedback was both humbling and energizing for our team. Many of you shared that you value the quality of our advice, the ease of working with us and the relationships you’ve built with your consultants. Your input helps guide our priorities and ensures we are focusing on what matters most to you.

In this issue, you’ll find two timely planning features:

  • Health and Wealth: Five Strategies for Medical Expenses
A practical guide to preparing for one of life’s most unpredictable costs.

  • Life Insurance: What Role Does It Play in Holistic Financial Planning Advice? Key coverage strategies to help protect significant wealth.

As we approach year-end, our consultants will be reaching out to discuss planning opportunities, including:

Health and Wealth: Five Strategies for Medical Expenses

by Denisse Merlos, Consulting Analyst

For individuals and families with significant wealth, medical expense planning is not just about covering costs. It’s about preserving capital, maintaining liquidity and ensuring healthcare needs are met without disrupting sophisticated investment strategies or generational wealth transfer plans.

Life Insurance: What Role Does It Play In Holistic
Financial Planning Advice?

by David Thome, CFP®, Principal, Senior Consultant

Life insurance is often viewed narrowly, both by those seeking retirement planning services and those providing personal financial planning advice, primarily as a tool for replacing income after a premature death. Team Member Spotlight: Andrew Salak

What is the best thing about working at Fiducient Advisors?

Without a doubt the best thing is interacting with our clients. I truly enjoy hearing and learning about how families and organizations have become successful and serving as a strategic advisor for them. Helping clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals is both exciting and deeply fulfilling, and certainly one of the most meaningful aspects of my work at Fiducient Advisors.

Are you currently pursuing any designations?

I recently earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) designation. This achievement was years in the making and marked an important milestone in my professional journey.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

There is no such thing as a typical workday! Some days are centered around client meetings and calls, others focus on investments and trading, while others could be dedicated to an internal project aimed at making our practice more efficient. The inherent unpredictability of the markets adds yet another layer of variety, making each day unique.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work? Any interesting hobbies or volunteer organizations you work with?

I am an avid racquet sports enthusiast. Tennis, pickleball, ping-pong, etc. you name it. On a recent trip to Puerto Rico, I got the chance to join local players for a morning of beach tennis!
