ADVISOR CONNECT - November 2025

From the Desk of Your Trusted Team:

You will notice a small but meaningful change to our materials: Fiducient Advisors is now “Fiducient Advisors, A Wealthspire Company.” This reflects our ongoing transition following our recent combination with Wealthspire, a step that strengthens our collective ability to serve you while maintaining the same people, process and purpose you’ve come to know. While a full name change will take effect in 2026, our commitment to you remains unchanged.

It is an exciting period of growth for our Private Client team. With the addition of Wealthspire, we:

  • Added four additional income tax and estate planning attorneys to deepen our in-house expertise
  • Welcomed five new investment team members
  • Expanded our services to include full bill pay capabilities
  • Began exploring new partnerships in healthcare, private aviation, real estate and other specialized areas of client need

Our efforts to expand and offer full multifamily office services remain as strong as ever. The momentum has been meaningful, and we continue to work closely with clients to help ensure our investment and planning expertise stays at the forefront of our service, while providing access to an increasingly broad set of resources when valuable.

This year, we welcomed more than 15 new families across the country to our Private Client group, a reflection of the trust and referrals we receive from clients. We’re truly grateful for your continued confidence and always welcome the opportunity to assist those close to you who may benefit from our guidance.

In this issue, Colin shares Charitable Giving Strategies: Making the Most of Your Donations, a timely read as many clients consider year-end philanthropic plans. Ted explores The Importance of Diversification: Spreading the Risk, offering perspective on how balanced portfolios can endure uncertain markets.

As the holidays approach, we hope you enjoy time with loved ones and enter the new year with health, peace and optimism. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s financial journey.

Fiducient Advisors and Wealthspire colleagues recently shared an evening of conversation and collaboration over dinner.

Charitable Giving Strategies: Making the Most of Your Donations

The Importance of Diversification: Spreading the Risk

by Ted Dawson, Consultant, The Wealth Office®

“Never test the depth of the river with both feet”, Warren Buffett cautioned; a reminder that overconfidence in a single investment can be costly.1 Behavioral finance shows that humans are prone to recency bias, chasing last year’s winners and underestimating the possibility of sudden reversals. Consider the investor who puts everything into a single “can’t-miss” stock or sector. When that bet pays off, the rewards can... Read More

What is your greatest career accomplishment so far?

My greatest career accomplishment so far has been my promotion from Client Service Associate to Consulting Analyst. This promotion reflects a deep commitment to our clients and displays my ability to work collaboratively across our teams. It has been great to feel that recognition from the firm and demonstrates Fiducient’s commitment to developing talent.

Are you currently pursuing any designations?
I am currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. I am presently enrolled in the requisite coursework at DePaul University and will aim to sit for the comprehensive exam in 2027. I am learning countless new things and mastering core concepts and skills that I can apply to my role in servicing our clients.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work? Any interesting hobbies or volunteer organizations you work with?

When I’m not at work, I love immersing myself in the art of gourmet cooking. Experimenting with new recipes and exploring diverse cuisines is my way of combining creativity with flavor. Enjoying these meals with friends and family becomes a way to connect, celebrate and create lasting memories.
